Intercom completed a HIPAA attestation and signs a BAA with eligible customers; HIPAA support is tied to higher-tier plans and a signed BAA is mandatory before sending ePHI.
Front's End User Conduct and Content Policy permits storing/transmitting PHI only for customers who have executed a BAA with Front, so a BAA pathway exists (available on request).
Help Scout will sign a BAA with covered entities or subcontractors, but HIPAA support is only included on the Pro plan. Customers sign a standardized (non-negotiable) BAA, and a separate AI Feature Healthcare Addendum is required to use AI features under HIPAA.
Freshworks signs a BAA, but only on Freshdesk Enterprise (and Forest/Enterprise Omnichannel) tiers. BAA scope is limited to Freshdesk, Freshchat, Freshcaller, and Freshdesk Omnichannel; ePHI in other Freshworks products is not covered.
